STEVEN ROMAN

In 1996, Steven attended Ft. Gordon, Signal School for Information Systems Analyst’s where he graduated top of his class. He was assigned to 1st Special Forces Group(Airborne) where he worked as a Network / Systems Administrator in support of the “Green Berets,” on numerous deployments around the world, both in training, and on mission. His duties at 1st Group also included, from time to time, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.

After his time in the Army in 2002, Steven was CEO of Destanet Inc., an I.T. Service startup out of La Quinta, California. Destanet was first to utilize cutting edge technology such as remote encrypted backups, and Service Management Software that employed first generation smartphones to schedule jobs, map track employees, and allow clients to digitally sign invoices. Destanet quickly became one of the top I.T. Service Providers in the Coachella Valley and still thrives to this day.

He’s currently the owner of STEVEN ROMAN Professional I.T. Services in Canon City, Colorado where he operates as an I.T. Consultant utilizing his 25+ years of industry experience to provide his clientele with extraordinary Network / Systems Administration.

Steven engages in the local community by administering the computer network of Loaves and Fishes of Fremont County, providing I.T. support for the Pregnancy Center, and on occasion lecturing at the Canon City High School Computer A+ Certification Class. He’s a co-founding tenant of FEDC’s TechSTART initiative; an Innovation Catalyst for Fremont County that works to bring tech sector jobs to the region. Steven has also provided preparatory training at Second 61 for Comptia A+ Certification.
